Language Scientific’s Near-Term Emissions Reduction Target Approved by the Science Based Targets initiative

Language Scientific is proud to announce that the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has officially approved its near-term science-based emissions reduction target. This validation ensures that the company’s climate action is in line with the latest science and contributes to the global movement for ambitious corporate decarbonization.
The climate emergency requires urgent action. According to the latest climate science from the IPCC, it is still possible to limit global temperature rise to 1.5 celcius, though the UN has described the current situation as a “code red for humanity”. To avoid the most catastrophic levels of global heating, the SBTi emphasizes the importance of rapid and deep emission cuts to halve global emissions before 2030.
